i really need to say this to you.
if you read this one day that is.
but i know you will
and i hope you find this post and know it's you.

girl,
sometimes we all have to grow up. and some point or another. i'm not sayin i'm all matured and everything, but we HAVE to be independent. We just cant rely on other people all our lives. At some point, we've got to work on our own. Recently, you called me like thrice in the morning and i was still sleeping cause of a hectic day before, me thinking it was some sort of emergency called you back immediately. When i called all you wanted to know was the amount of postage needed for letters. I mean, come on. I don't mean to be rude but, the first thing that came to my mind was DO I LOOK LIKE A POSTMAN TO YOU? to some out there it may just be a scene where a friend wants to know smth and i'm overeacting and stuff but trust me, it's not the first. I've like reached my boiling point of whatever you may call it.
GROW UP. and you're like way older than me by 8mths? this is super obvious by now.
I am very sorry. thousand apologies to you girl and you may call me a coward cause i dare not say this in front of your face. But this has got to stop. Although i know you may have certain difficulties and you cannot approach others because of secrets others don't know but don't abuse it. Know your limits.
I don't mean to be a bad friend or want to break up our friendship but I just want to help you, well, grow up and learn how to be responsible for your own life and take charge. Have a mind on your own.
Ok, since i'm super in to this right now i might as well add others such as times when we were supposed to go out, confirmed and everything, i hate it when you call me with your pathetic voice and say "Will you be alright if i say cancel the whole thing?" wth. i'm like outside on my way, you call me near 5 to 10 mins before the meeting time to tell me cancel it? the best thing, you ask me if it's alright! hell what can i say? no it's not alright and get your butt down immediately. of course i'm not alright. it's not the first time.the first time you told me that i was seriously understanding and said alright, only to roam the streets alone and go home afterwards. the next few times were irritating. i swear. that is why you don't see or hear from me to go out with you, even if it's a group outing i'd rather tally with the rest. the experience seriously sucks. thank god i have other friends too who's so into imprompto shopping.

WHO WILL YOU TOUCH?
WHO WILL TOUCH YOU?

God, grant me peace and serenity right now and to be forgiving onto others. tho they do not mean it at times, let me be more understanding and patient. i really need strength to carry on.
i feel so heated up everytime i think about your character. it's seriously... i give up. you can say i have qualms about your behaviour. maybe it's just you. you've changed a lot.and i've changed to be less understanding too. i would not be so cruel to let you take the whole blame because i'm less understanding now.

the future is so unpredictable
that's what makes it interesting and fun to look forward to.

slow down you're going too fast
the dance is slow, the beat wont' last
take your time to smell the flowers
and appreciate all that's going around you
sometimes when we travel,
we think too much about our destination
and forget about our surroundings.
take your time slow down,
we're going too fast.

woohoo... Final Destination 2 was superb. more gory scenes. woohoo...
ok. just hope all goes well now.
preparation for SATs sucks and i dont feel like studying for it. no sense of emergency.

i'm so bored i want a new template. i like this tho', simple but lackin smth.

i keep seeing you everywhere.
things remind me of you,
people's behaviour reminds me of you,
people's un-gentlemanly behaviour makes you stand out and
reminds me of you.
so many things.
nostalgia.
yearning

yeah,
you really got me now
you got me so i can't sleep at night.
you really got me
you really got me
you really got me

ok.it's one of those repetition days again.
i need a well deserved break.
but only when i deem myself fit for it.
and that's like gonna be..
erm..
after may? june? when the postings are out?
sigh.
life's supa draggy when you have no goal and motivation.
i needa lose weight again.

I was so bored tonight while waiting for prison break to start, i decided to post up my very first TEST! yay! haha. okay. I shall just amuse myself for the time being.

You Are From Neptune
You are dreamy and mystical, with a natural psychic ability. You love music, poetry, dance, and (most of all) the open sea.Your soul is filled with possibilities, and your heart overflows with compassion. You can be in a room full of friendly people and feel all alone. If you don't get carried away with one idea, your spiritual nature will see you through anything.
OMGosh!I just realised. FINAL DESTINATION at midnight. woooohoooo... this is so going well. oh no. actually it's not. i've got like an hour to kill again before it starts. why why why cant all the good shows be placed together, and stop making me wait... aargh... patience denise. patience's a virtue.

i'm going nuts speaking in third person.

University Open House was a bash.
Nothing seem short of happiness.
Oh So Random.

NUS is still the best. It feels like home at the open house, tho we felt really down at 2 occasions.
I met Elaine at the Open House after arriving there with byn and met her friend chee keong i think. Elaine and i are still so freakin persistant on checkin out the law school. Tho even if i apply, i know i'll get rejected because of the tough high benchmark standard our year has set for us. But nonetheless, i decided to try it out, i mean since it was my childhood dream, no harm trying. I'm happy for my GP grade because our year the GP sucks, as in the people are bad in GP. So this will give me the advantage. Please. Let me play on my GP grade. Thank You!

We headed down to the Law School booth and met this really nice man there. After a long chat did we realise that he's a final year student at NUS. wow! he doesn't look like or sound like- i meant that in a good way. He's so humble and eloquent but doesnt present himself like well, a lawyer. Who cares man, if he can survive til now, he's definitely a man of substance. After that long chat, he decided to guess which college we are from. And BOy that was the joke of the day. haha. He looked at Elaine and said Hwa Chong? I laughed. then he looked at me and said Raffles? *faints*

Are only these 2 schools capable of producing lawyers? i mean that's so stereotypical of them. aargh!!!! But well, on a lighter note we must have impressed him with our conversion and communication skills that he chose to mention and label those schools with us. Oh How I'd Wish.

He later asked us to try out the Bukit Timah Campus (BTC) and see what it really is, life over at law school and we're like... err, okkay. We'll see. He happily added that "We include a free shuttle service!" haha. damn funny.

We proceeded on to FASS and i was captivated by the Philo teacher. i think he's inspirational. He's down to earth and unafraid of scaring you off with the workload and tons of reading material. But i think it's a cool subject. Political Science too. I'm so Legal after all. haha

After a long debate and endless "so what you wanna do" and "you wanna go or not ah" by the 2 of us, we walked and thought about it all the way to the shuttle service area, we decided to go. Altho the people queing looked really smart and cool, okay i think we were feeling inferior.

After all that sight seeing round the campus, especially kent ridge and king george area, i thought that it's really prestigious to be studying and living in NUS. darn. it's so beautiful. But not until i went to the BTC.

It's really beautiful and undescribable. It's just like je ne sais quoi. It's a feeling you have to be be there to really feel it. It's makes you feel all so grown up and serious. It's like the world's your playground. After much thought Elaine and i came to an agreement that this Campus is like an exclusive club that you can enter only with your academic grades.Only the Law School and Lee Kuan Yew's School of Public Policy is situated there. Sigh. It's make me wanna do my A's all over again. The old buildings, wooden doors, glass panels, big open fields like those you see in legally blonde where the students sit to discuss their works. It's a Dream Come True. They even have a Moot court for fake trials. I just wanna go back there. The new building is better. Air conditioned corridors and a Giant Library. So prestigious. I miss the place already.

The talk was really interesting and the students there were really hip. Actually, there are tons of eye-candies too. One guy was particularly attractive. He's so comfortable on the floor, speaking, creating jokes and he really changed the motion of old-fashioned thinking that lawyers are boring and serious and well, stuck-up, cause they are really nice. Maybe except for the few others whom are different in race. If you get what i mean. Anyway, he's so nice and even mentioned that well, the whole group of them are trying to get a new word into the dictionary and to think for the moment we thought he was serious til he told us the word.
"Chillax"= Chill out + relax.
He explained that it's exactly what they do. They study hard and play hard. Tho it may sound cliched, it's a anchor that's brings you back to earth. I really need to wake up. The profs there are super funny and sarcastic to a certain extent. i mean, they are selling their school after all so it's rather normal if they are a lil proud.
They went to an extent of giving an analogy while answering one of the question that came from the floor. He stated and asked us to compare 2 companies.
The scenario was : One day, you decided to open a new company, let's say, limited resources, and because of that, specialise in one particular area as in Singapore's concern. Comeon' everyone present knew who they were talking about. For those in lala-land, another clue. He asked us to compare which company you'd chose if given a chance.
"An established for > 50years school or one that's just set up" boy, they are proud.

Oh i met Marcus from MSC there. But he acted dumb. Also kirsten and Step Choh.
I kinda liked the idea that they had regarding Movie nights and Clubbing nights. i think it's quite cool and a great bonding session. Well that's it. It's really a good experience to step into the BTC. I might end up there again if i study hard enough now for future studies. I hope i will. Will put up pictures i took from both campuses next.

Sigh, while typing this i just signed up for my SATs. I'm gonna sit for it, hoping that i will do well, and well, get into SMU for a particular course that i'm aiming for.
I'm gonna do it right.

Oh and my lst day of work is well, tomorrow. I wouldn't mind working there again. The next time i'll go back is like 2 April but then i'was thinkin it's a waste of time cause i don't really earn much, and it's a punishment for rejecting a better job offer previously. I mean, $7/Hr, $10 OT. Where can you get this kinda job. I WANT!!!!!! But the only thing that's making me stay is my nice boss, minus the middle-age assistant, and the freakin friendly people on the 18th. I'll Miss You guys. You people definitely made my first job a very pleasant experience. Namely: Gladys, Florence, Sook Wai, Alicia, Wendy, Hong Chiew. You 6 made lunch hour the happy hour. haha. Plus Francine. But girl, i've known you since Kindergarten.

I met the durian man today. He got his name because of the conversion i heard. It's really dumb and i dont' see why he can bother to argue.
"Singaporeans have bad taste.Because they like durians" Debate on that please. He's coming up with funny accusations and senseless proofs. Come on. Go back and take your GP again. Lemme start with definitions. Def : BAD TASTE. bad taste in food, fashion... So why just pick on durians because you hate it.

Another is when you thought eating gizzards digusting. Well man, i've only got something to ask and tell you. What did YOU eat for lunch. Let's say: Chicken Breast. I'll tell him, "issn't it disgusting to eat a Chicken's Breast? Imagine them killing the chicken just to rip the breast and feed a man like you? oh wait a MCP as you proclaimed that you are." Have you ever heard that ONE MAN'S FOOD IS ANOTHER MAN's POISION? just shut up dc.
Let me further elaborate to prove my point that he's irritating. This guy has a habit of putting 5 to 7 teaspoons of sugar into his coffee. The people in his office cares and tells him not to cause it's bad for health. But he rebuts and says ARE YOU GUYS BECOMNG MY DOCTORS NOW? wth. gad. We plan to serve him also out of kindness, sugar with coffee on our last day of work, just to make him happy. I also feel like telling him. people do NOT care about you. it;s the fact that you're depleting our sugar supply.

Today he even admitted that he's an MCP. We later asked him then why did you marry, since your wife is a woman. He said ''because she's not a FEMINIST" How senseless can you get.

This portion is devoted to him. Cause i do want to remember such a man like him living in our society. He's 40+ and his wife 20+. Francine said she must be deaf. Mean right.

well.. that's working life and it's also interesting to meet this kinda people cause you really feel human. haha. he's inHUMAN.haha. thank you. sarcastically.he's really proud.he thinks people actually lose mini debates to him because they walk off without saying a word. MISTER! think of it as the other way around. It's because the people DO NOT BOTHER arguing with a senseless man like you.

Ok.time to sleep and prepare for last day of work and days of preparation for the SATs ahead! woohoo.. and i still want my red nano!gimme gimme gimme!

oh i love last tues. fran and i were sharing an umbrella, on our way from work to ps to buy SAT books when it rained halfway at hong lim. oh my gosh, we we so drenched that we might as well not carry the brolly and just run. that's how drenched we were. and to think we protected the company's letters instead. stupid right? and we ended up wet like we just came out from the washing machine. we headed down to carrefour to buy clothes and shoes first. can you imagine, spending unnecessary money on rainy days clothes. haha.

after days of normal life activities, i dreamt of you last night.
we were doing things together. happily and like a couple. why.
why did i think of you.
are you in my snbconscience?

Oh so random. Pictures to make me SMiLe. Not to mention the memories!!!

Francine's Infamous Notice about lost magazines and Rude people interrupting our Lunches

Cousins at a very tender age. Tho i cant rmb who's the boy in the middle. That's Cousin Kevin and the oldest Charlene. The cute lil' me at the corner :) My Mascot. Tho i really love the ones from hagen daz
The scene after the second quake. Those that were left behind to calm down before going home. Not to mention, but this is only one table. There's suppose to be one more on the left and right of this table.

The SECRET RECIPE for surviving everyday work. It even clears wooziness. Strongly recommended. See, it's even helping me now.

Help me. I've still not decided and dare not take the first step. Would you take it with me? i lack the strength to do so.

Give me the required wisdom. Teach me what to do. Be like Charlene in her studies? i wouldn't mind seriously.

No week in my entire life could ever, i repeat EVER be this interesting

Tuesday, when i was feelin' low and sick,
i managed to sit back and rest after staring at the comp for like an hour in a row, trying to spot mistakes in the stephen-tay-look-a-like boss's kid. after a long stare all i ever wanted was rest.
but then i thought i was straining myself too much man. Things around me started swaying and i got really dizzy. At first i wondered whether it's really me or the building. So i started lookin at Cat and Vi but they appeared unshaken so i managed to psyco myself to thinkin it's the workload.

about 5 mins later i received a call from one of the nice nearby agents.
" hey you people are still in the building ah. Got earthquake outside leh. Still don't wanna run ah. Everyone evacuade already. You people got feel or not. Anyway, still got time go and run. But lemme tell you ah. Just keep an OPEN-MIND hor! and run!"

i feel like faintin man. so it wasnt my headache. hahaha. and to the nice man that called, i didn't take note of your name but just to inform you, i'm on the 43rd floor. so tell me how to run down. tired man.

But it was also then that the nice lady on our floor told us to run too. But we idiots didn't use our brains and took the lift. Still can laugh somemore. We're the best.

Vi was nice enough to let me have an early lunch. woohoo...
Met with Fran and went to Hong Lim to eat.
It was after lunch while wandering that we found ourselves caught in a commotion. People's Park Building was slanted man, and everyone was like look look. But look at what. ai yah.

Around 1.35 we were still downstairs, debating on whether to still take the risk and go up even after a sms declaring the building safe. So we stayed at the ocbc bank downstairs to cool ourselves down first before proceeding. Florence was the only one that stayed behind. Smart Girl.

In Less than 2 hours, i thought i was floating again. And this time it was more severe. Confirmed man. i told cat and this time she panicked. I ran out to confirm with the rest on the level and YES. OMG!

this time we really took the stairs. *faints*
43rd Storey you know.
Gosh, to be panicky and weak in the knees are good enough but to be in a hurry and experience fear all at the same time is amazing. The best part is to be climbing down the stairs and feel the whole building move at the same time. DIZZY WEEZY.

This time we took no chances and i headed immediately to Hong Lim Park to meet Francine. Half Day off man. No way am i gonna go back to that building. It's freaking old and the first time this ever happened at CDB area.

It was indeed a good experience tho an unforgettable one.
It really brought me back to earth.
Material Possesions are all irrelevant.
I was praying for the people over there, hoping that they will be fine.
It also dawned upon me greatly how blessed we are to be safe.In such a geographical position.
We have neighbours to help block or absorb half the shock.
But things don't look good on their side.
We really have to Thank God for his grace and mercy.
That was also another check to tell you how fragile life can be.
To also treasure those around you.
In times of trouble and panic the first people that pop in your mind would be those that you cared about.
Thank you fran for thinkin of me and trying to call me like endlessly even tho i did not pick up the phone and you thought i was dead.
I'd really cared for my family as the first instinct was to call them and ask them if they're all alright. My dad at work and mum at home. Also to tell you that your daughter is safe.

Thank You God. For this Enriching Experience.
One lil tremor made me realise what is going on around us and not to live life lavishly and blindly but to appreciate what we have and the people around us that we care for and care for us in return. We are truly blessed and i appreciate that.

The lil things that make us human are amazing.

lost as to what to put now that will enable me a place in the u

Saturday, March 03, 2007

Got this from someone's website:

The people who talk and the people who think
what makes some shallow and the others sink
the people who shout and the people who listen
what makes some dumb and the others reason
the people who march and the people who don’t
what makes some follow and the others that won’t
the people who mock and the people who care
what makes some helpful and the others just stare
what makes them
the people who stand and the people who fall
what makes some fly and the others crawl
the people who walk and the people who run
what makes some look and the others shun
the people who fight and the people who don’t
what makes them better and the others that don’t
the people who spin every cock and bull are the people who drap your eyes with wool
which makes them fools.

Lord, help me get a place in the course i want
Gimme a sign to choose a course.
I need your help and guidance
I just want to do that.
Can i?
Can i use my results to get me a place there?
I just want a place in the U.
I want to go there.

AARGH!!! stupid subject that screwed up my life

really not smiling now

Unexpected Disappointment

Mixed feelings.
I got what i wanted for three subjects.
Ok. Maybe not what i wanted but what i expected and could live with.
But apparently my last and strongest subject, one that i put all my effort into and placed high hopes for, FAILED ME!!!
ok. i did NOT fail the subject. it just failed my expectations.

if only i could get a grade or two better for it,
i wouldn't be here right now, panicking to decide what courses i wanna take and whether i would be even considered for it.

DARN YOU!!!

i want my grade for that subject so badly.
the disappointment hit me like an atomic bomb man.
aargh!!!!!

i cannot stop but keep lamenting on my disappointment.
it's just very sad-dening.
if only it was a grade or 2 higher than fact, i'll be happy

but anyway i am happy for my friends who got what they wanted and those who got the marks i wanted. you studied for it and you deserved it. maybe for me, it wasnt meant to be.

i'm so disappointed i hope i can live thru this.
i want to get into my second goal course right now and hope i'll be able to apply and be even considered for this. i hope that whoever's looking thru my educational history will look at my 0 level results and give me a chance. i hope my 4 A's for my O's will come in handy right now.

Lord, you brought me here, gave me a chance at the A's. now are you willing to give me the second chance to continue and pursue my education.
When one door closes another opens. i just pray that i'll choose wisely and pick something i can be accepted for and be able to cope with too.
You brought me here to this stage.
Help me tide over this.
Bring me, lead me by hand to where you want me to go.
Show me the way Lord.
You brought me thus far.
Do not leave me hanging nowhere.
I need your wisdom and strength to carry on.
Give me hope to tell me it's not over just as yet.
